ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE ME!

“ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE ME!”

…Said no scholar ever.

These are actually the words of Tupac, who the youth seem to quote in matters of sin and transgression more than the book of Allaah or the Sunnah of His Rasool (salallahu alayhi wa salam)

Boycotting is the Final Treatment

Shaykh Albaani was asked:

_‘How should I deal with my neighbor who has removed her Jilbaab that she used to wear, should I boycott her?’_

Shaykh Albaani answers:

‘Boycotting a Muslim as an individual in an Islamic society is like treating a sick person with cauterization, like it has been mentioned in a proverb and in an unauthentic hadeeth: that the last treatment/cure is cauterization so boycotting is the final treatment.

It is not allowed for a Muslim man or woman to be hasty in boycotting the one who has deviated from his Islaam, rather it is upon us to follow them up, by visiting them, by reminding them about their Deen or by refuting them, perhaps they will return and repent.

If we stay with them and become despondent or we waste our time with them and become neglected and we fear this sickness will transfer to other than its source then we say salaam (farewell) to them, we do not seek the ignorant ones.

All praise belongs to Allaah Lord of the Worlds.’

FATALITY – POEM BY SISTER CANDYAPPLE

There is no sound more dear to me
When facing distress and agony
Than that of sweet silence; the peace it brings
Like the thud of hitting the earth as if it’s clipped off the wings
That very moment, materialistic values is irrelevant
Everything you’ve ever strove to achieve was only to your own detriment
It’s when you realise nothing matters except for what’s beckoning you
By then you’re too out of it to rewind, as a feeble attempt to undo
Cause you’re at the brink of your death and the veil has come off
While the devil has grasped on to your weak soul hard enough
Whispering words of pleasure that you indulged in
Finalising your deeds of shameless sin
Oh, you’re too weak to utter any good
The shahada’s not coming to your lips as it should
You hear yourself stutter the songs you blasted through your earphones
As fatality takes over, your sinful soul dreadfully moans…
